A cheap eat restaurant with a variety of dishes, great food portion to value. Cozy atmosphere but quite noisy as staff is a bit messy and run around. Taste of homemade food (tasty but not special). It is a nice place to have lunch with friends. Take away or delivery is available.

Cheap $10 dishes, good enough for lunch. Kolomee was dry and bland but their spicy sambal definitely made up for it.
Ordered lor bak on the side and it took way too long to come out. Everyone had finished their meals, several follow ups were made and we were reassured that it's coming soon. Felt like they only started frying when we said we're gonna cancel the item - not sure why.
Will still come back though to try other menu!

KL Hokkien Mee with crispy pork lard bits, Char Hor Fun with eggy sauce - two tasty dishes. Hainan chicken rice - chicken was smooth but rice was dry; also not the right chilli sauce to accompany HCR. Chee cheong fun could have more sauce. Lobak was not crunchy.
Don’t expect service.

Pork noodle (one of their famous $10 meals) was delicious and the noodle was crunchy & perfectly cooked. Loh bak entree (also $10) was good and had generous fillings. Roast pork fried rice ($16) though, could have been more flavourful with more roast pork pieces.

Comments coming from a group of authentic Malaysians:
Ambience: clean, comfortable, reasonable dining space
Price: reasonable
Taste:
1. Hokkien mee - MOST AUTHENTIC Hokkien mee I’ve had in Melbourne. Comes with thick black soy sauce, which is the whole point of the dish (& crispy pork lard too). Pork slices & vegetables in it tasted good. Very real and authentic Malaysian taste. However, portion is quite small (I have average girl appetite). 9/10
2. Curry chicken nasi lemak - Very good sambal (very spicy and aromatic). However, rice was hard (we think it might be overnight rice although the server denied after being confronted), not hot, and had no coconut flavour. Curry chicken tasted bland and the anchovies and peanuts weren’t crunchy (because there were curry sauce on top). 5/10
3. Curry fish fillet noodles - Reasonable portion. Comes with rice vermicelli. 6/10
